Workshops without Borders Association (Ateliere fara Frontiere) refurbished 4,000 used computers in 2022, through the program “Click on Romania”. Computers were donated to 258 computer laboratories in schools across the country.

“AFF reconditions 13.5% of everything that collects, with a positive impact on both the environment and in digital education. We want to launch a new program addressed to educational units and NGOs that need computers. To this end, we call on all companies to get involved in CSR activities and to develop projects to help digitize education,” says Damien Thiery, general manager of Workshops without Borders Association.

Computers donated by “Click on Romania” are part of the process of circular economy of Workshops without Borders, through which the association takes on used IT equipment and other WEEEs as authorized collector from companies and various organizations, to be refurbished by the employees in the program of socio-professional insertion, with the final goal of being donated to schools in vulnerable areas in the country.
