Registrations are now open for the 13th edition of the Oltenia Marathon, one of the traditional competitions in the south of the country, dedicated to lovers of outdoor activities. This year brings an important premiere: for the first time, the event is organized by Distributie Oltenia, part of the Evryo Group.

On August 30 and 31, Râmnicu Vâlcea will once again become the meeting place for MTB and Trail Run enthusiasts. Registrations are officially open on www.maratonulolteniei.ro, with a special 2+1 promotion, valid until May 20, and the novelty of this edition is the introduction of the 4 km Fun Run race, designed to encourage the participation of as many people as possible, regardless of their level of training. In parallel, the virtual marathon begins with registration: participants can run or pedal anywhere, anytime, without being limited by a fixed date.

• August 30 – MTB: 22 km & 33 km

• August 31 – Trail Run: 12 km & 22 km

• August 31 – Fun Run: 4 km

• August 31 – Children’s Race, in Zăvoi Park

Now in its 13th edition, the Oltenia Marathon continues to bring together sports and nature enthusiasts, people who choose to move forward regardless of the challenges. What started as a local event has transformed, over time, into a traditional competition in the south of the country, built around the values ​​of perseverance, solidarity and respect for the environment. In 2025, the tradition continues under the organization of Distribuție Oltenia, part of the Evryo Group, which will double all participation fees and direct them to local social causes.
