Mark Twain International School signs partnership with Pi2 communications agency

Mark Twain International School (MTIS) has embarked on an accelerated growth journey under the umbrella of the Romania Education Alliance (REA), a national platform dedicated to advancing private education in Romania. Established in 2024 by education entrepreneurs Anca and Dan Macovei Vlăsceanu, together with Morphosis Capital (majority shareholder, investment and development fund), REA provides partner schools with access to growth capital, educational management expertise, international academic standards, cutting-edge educational resources, and ongoing teacher training programs.

MTIS’s expansion plan includes the opening of three new state-of-the-art campuses over the coming years, which will strengthen the school’s network and serve more than 2,500 students in total. To support this expansion and enhance its reputation, MTIS has entered into a strategic communications partnership with Pi2.

Pi2 will develop and oversee the school’s integrated communications strategy, focusing on strengthening the MTIS brand through media campaigns, public positioning, and content initiatives that highlight the school’s key differentiators: a dual curriculum (National + International Baccalaureate), modern infrastructure, and innovative educational programs built on global best practices.

“We are entering a new era for Mark Twain International School, one that involves not just physical expansion but also a strategic evolution in how we communicate our values. Our partnership with Pi2 reflects our ambition to build an authentic public presence that is both socially relevant and aligned with international standards. The Pi2 team will help us share the values that define MTIS: academic excellence, pedagogical innovation, and a deep commitment to our community,” said Anca Macovei Vlăsceanu, MTIS Founder and CEO of Romania Education Alliance.

“Partnering with Mark Twain International School is an extraordinary opportunity for us. This is a school with tradition, yet with a forward-looking vision and unique energy. In this phase of accelerated growth, our role is to build communication that matches MTIS’s ambitions – authentic, strategic, and inspiring. We aim to bring to the public the story of a school that not only educates exceptional students but also helps shape the future of private education in Romania,” said Camelia Lepădatu, Head of PR at Pi2.
