We are investing around 35 million Euro next year only in sustainability. We were doing sustainability already before we knew the fancy word,\u201d Bart Dobbelaere, Managing Director, VPK Packaging & Corex Romania said during Sustainability in Business Forum organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest and Sustainability-Today.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOur sustainability responsible is from the beginning with the company and she is still with us. I believe that in the future when customers will have to choose between two products, they will see the carbon footprint of each product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When it comes to customers, education is important. Romania needs to invest more in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a group, we made a commitment to reduce carbon emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2) with 48 percent in 2030 compared to 2020. On Scope 3 we are finalizing the mapping this year and we also want to commit to a target.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
