Electroalfa International has invested more than 500,000 euros over the past two years to develop a modern training center for its employees, as part of a broader initiative \u2014 Alfa Academy \u2014 dedicated to professional development in technical fields. The investment includes the construction of a 100-seat amphitheater and training spaces that replicate real production workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to this investment, the company has allocated more than 100,000 euros in extra funding for dual education programs carried out in partnership with technological high schools and universities in the region, as well as for internship programs in its factories. So far, more than 250 students have benefited from these programs through internships, scholarships, or hands-on training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These investments come at a worrying time for Romania\u2019s labor market, which faces a severe shortage of skilled technical workers. According to data from Eurostat, only 18.7% of young people were employed in 2023, compared to the European average of 35.2%, while youth unemployment exceeded 20% in Romania last year. The situation is even more difficult in rural areas and small towns, where limited employment opportunities significantly restrict young people\u2019s integration into the workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
