In September, the Deposit-Return System registered another positive performance: return rates for all three material types \u2013 PET, aluminum, and glass \u2013 exceeded 90% for the second consecutive month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In September alone, over 507 million beverage containers were collected, representing 94% of the total placed on the market, a percentage similar to that recorded in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the first nine months of 2025, Romanians returned more than 4 billion deposit-marked containers, while RetuRO delivered over 290,000 tons of materials \u2013 PET, aluminum, and glass \u2013 to recycling partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
