In the water security category, Schaeffler was given an \u2018A-\u2019, the same score as in the previous year. The result of these two scores put the Motion Technology Company once again in the highest category \u2018leadership\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Klaus Rosenfeld, CEO of Schaeffler AG, explains: \u201cThe award of yet another \u2018A\u2019 score for climate change affirms our commitment to environmental protection and inspires us to continue to systematically implement our decarbonization strategy. Following the acquisition of Vitesco Technologies, we are currently working on updating our climate targets for the combined company. In this context, our aim is to remain in line with the targets of the Paris Climate Agreement. For Schaeffler, sustainability is a key issue and important prerequisite as we strive to become the leading Motion Technology Company.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Schaeffler\u2019s inclusion in CDP\u2019s \u2018Climate A List 2025\u2019 testifies to the comprehensive, high-quality and transparent data that the company has collected on its sustainability measures. This provides stakeholders with comprehensive insights into the company\u2019s environmental impacts and serves as a basis for its sustainable transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The current ranking by CDP acknowledges in particular, the company\u2019s commitment to decarbonizing its own production. In this context, the worldwide procurement of renewable electricity for production and energy savings of more than 100 gigawatt hours enabled the Schaeffler Group to meet two of its key targets in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company has also improved its score in the environmental policy category due to a new edition of its&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.schaeffler.com\/en\/media\/media-library\/?filter=searchString:EnEHS&amp;tab=mediathek-pub&amp;subfilter=app:dc;language-vid:167;language-pub:167;mediatyp-pub:all;referencetyp-pub:0&amp;uid=88061127\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Policy Statement \u2018Energy, Environment, Health and Safety (EnEHS)\u2019<\/a>, which details the company\u2019s commitments in conjunction with water security and climate protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the water security category, the \u2018A-\u2019 rating confirms that the Schaeffler Group continues to be one of the leading companies in this area.
