Kaufland Romania is running, between May 6-12, a new campaign to encourage recycling, with rewards for loyal customers who have adopted this responsible behaviour. Customers who bring containers with the DRS logo to Kaufland and scan the voucher and customer card at the cash register receive the value of the voucher again as a discount in the Kaufland Card app.

Until Sunday, May 12, customers who choose to return eligible DRS packaging at any Kaufland store can enjoy additional benefits. After inserting the containers, the machine issues a value voucher, which the customer can use for purchases made during the same period, May 6-12, provided he also scans the Kaufland Card at the cash register.

Thus, customers automatically receive a discount voucher in their user account from the Kaufland Card application, with a value equal to that of the ticket used.

The voucher in the application is valid from May 23, 2024, in all Kaufland Romania stores. Its value differs depending on the number of returned packages, being equivalent to the amount of the deposit recovered through the voucher, with a maximum limit of 50 RON for each Kaufland Card user.
