    Sustainable Development of Businesses and Economic Organizations: master’s program at the Academy of Economic Studies

    The Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) from Bucharest, through the Faculty of Agri-Food and Environmental Economics, organizes the master’s program Sustainable Development of Businesses and Economic Organizations.

    “The Master’s program Sustainable Development of Businesses and Economic Organizations (DDAOE) represents, for graduates of bachelor’s programs in economic education, and not only, an opportunity to adapt more quickly to the demands of the labor market and a beneficial contribution for organizations in Romania, in order to their transition towards the new economic models defined by both profitability and concern for long-term development, in harmony with the environment and the communities in which they operate”, states Raul Pop, former Secretary of State in the Ministry of the Environment (2016, 2021), Program Director ECOTECA Association, business process analyst and waste consultant and founding member of the Circular Economy Coalition – CERC

    The academic curriculum adapted to the requirements of the labor market, includes subjects such as: Basics of the circular economy; Sustainable business ethics and social responsibility of organizations; Eco-entrepreneurship; Environmental investment projects; Climate change and sustainable development.

    The teaching staff of the program are involved in the realization of important research projects – international and national: Danube Region Water Lighthouse Action-DALIA, Horizon Europe Programme; Development of institutional capacity for the implementation of sustainable development objectives in higher education (DECID); Study on the evaluation of the deposit-return system, component of the waste management system in Romania.

    An important competitive advantage of the master’s program is represented by the presence, alongside the full-time teaching staff of ASE, of an important group of associated teaching staff – personalities of economic and social life, experts in the fields in which they work:
