E.ON Energie Romania returned to Sighisoara, in the third afforestation campaign, where it planted saplings on an area of five hectares of degraded land, the first two campaigns being carried out in the spring and autumn of last year. In total, in the last two years, the area reforested by E.ON reaches 15 hectares.

“We keep our promise to reward our customers’ efforts to have a greener and more sustainable future. This time we especially thank those who charge their electric cars at E.ON Drive stations. Together we manage to take important steps on the road to sustainability. In addition, by getting involved in such afforestation campaigns we not only protect the planet, but also make it greener. We therefore thank the customers, but also the volunteers and partners in this project who will certainly enjoy the fruits of their efforts in a few years, when the seedlings will reach maturity”, says Claudia Griech, general director of E.ON Energie Romania.

The first two afforestation campaigns in the Sighisoara area took place in 2021, with the support of E.ON customers. In the spring campaign, E.ON planted a tree for each Myline account activated by customers for a month, and in the autumn the campaign rewarded each customer who charged their car at one of the E.ON Drive electric stations.
