“Looking in general at the support pillars of the sustainability system, Majorel focused a lot on the social component due to the fact that it mainly works with people. We have focused a lot on the communities that need to be developed,” Loredana Alexe, Senior Service Delivery Manager, Majorel Romania said during Sustainability in Business Forum organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest and Sustainability-Today.
“Majorel is very involved in the local communities, especially in the cities where we have a very large presence, predominantly in Brasov, but not exclusively in Brasov. There we have partnerships with entrepreneurship hubs in the field of sustainability.
We have invested a lot in technologies that allow us to reduce energy consumption. We are very careful about the carbon footprint. The long-term strategy is to create successful partnerships with entities that have great experience in sustainability projects.
In the last year, we had projects that meant the renovation of 15 rural schools. We invited the children to participate in activities regarding the importance of protecting the environment.”
