The Women Entrepreneurs Organization and ING Bank join forces to promote women’s entrepreneurship

    Published on

The OFA (Organization of Women Entrepreneurs) reaffirms its commitment to supporting Romania’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through initiatives that contribute to business development, strengthen business communities, and promote a more dynamic and competitive economy.

In this context, ING Bank Romania is joining as a strategic partner and contributing to the development of joint initiatives focused on entrepreneurship, financial education, digitalization, and the transfer of know-how.

Between June and December, OFA is organizing a series of events in several cities across the country, including Sibiu, Ploiești, Suceava, Iași, Bucharest, Hunedoara, Timișoara, Vâlcea, Argeș, Craiova, and many others, given OFA’s presence in all 31 counties of Romania. These meetings bring together entrepreneurs, specialists, and business leaders for in-depth discussions on financial education, digital skills, and tools to boost competitiveness and help businesses adapt to current market dynamics.

„We believe that entrepreneurship flourishes when people have access to the right information, resources, and a supportive community. Through our partnership with OFA, we want to connect with female entrepreneurs across the country, and it’s important to us to reach as many communities as possible, in every corner of Romania. We want to offer them inspiration, access to diverse expertise, and the tools they need to move forward with confidence,” said Diana Mihai, Director of Marketing, Communications, and Brand Experience at ING Bank Romania.

In a constantly changing business environment, adaptability, strategic planning, and the use of digital solutions are becoming essential elements for building a solid business. This strategic partnership underscores the importance of collaboration between the non-profit sector and the financial sector in supporting Romanian entrepreneurship.

The Organization of Women Entrepreneurs (OFA) and ING Bank Romania are helping to build an entrepreneurial community that is better informed and better prepared to turn challenges into opportunities. OFA is also a strategic partner in supporting and promoting the She’s Next entrepreneurial competition, organized by ING Bank and VISA Romania.
