Radisson Blu Bucharest announced it has invested 2.1 million Euro in the installation of state-of-the-art equipment and technological solutions that allows the hotel optimize consumption of resources and energy.

The investments included the installation of new, high-performance and more energy-efficient refrigeration equipment, the upgrading of the heating system through the installation of high-performance boilers and distribution pumps, as well as the optimization of the temperature control system in the rooms and public areas inside the hotel complex.

“We continue our mission to provide our guests the highest standards of quality, but we know we can fully enjoy comfort while acting with greater respect for the planet’s resources. By seemingly small gestures, we can all contribute to a better future, especially in the current context, when acting responsibly has become not only a priority, but also a necessity,” says Sonja Dive-Dahl, General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel & Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Residence Bucharest.

The new initiatives complement the action plan that the hotel has already had in place for some time, implemented at Group level. Radisson Blu Bucharest has also invested in a feasibility study for the installation of solar panels.
