Kinderpedia raises 2.2 million euros to accelerate growth of its AI-powered platform

    Published on

Kinderpedia, the all-in-one school management and communication platform, announces it has secured €2.2 million, as part of a €3.5 million funding round led by Simpact Ventures, with participation from existing investors, Early Game Ventures and Roca X. The round remains open for the next five months to welcome strategic co-investors aligned with Kinderpedia’s international growth and impact vision.

Kinderpedia is trusted by schools and nurseries in 40+ countries, across Europe, Middle East, Africa and LATAM, and supports a fast-growing international community of more than half a million teachers, parents and education leaders. Building on strong adoption across various continents, the company is now accelerating its international expansion with a focus on consolidating presence in Central and Eastern Europe and ramping up its growth in the Middle East and Africa, regions where demand for scalable, multilingual education technology is growing rapidly.

The platform helps educators save more than 9 hours per week on administrative work, while strengthening transparency, trust and collaboration between schools and families. Kinderpedia offers a fully integrated solution covering school administration, tuition management, classroom activities, student progress tracking and parent engagement, all in one secure, cloud-based environment.

Product development over the past year has focused on practical, privacy-first AI, embedded directly into everyday workflows. Kinderpedia’s AI-powered features help educators communicate more efficiently, spot patterns and generate insights for their learning progress reports, and document incidents promptly and transparently. These features not only reduce administrative pressure, they also improve clarity and consistency.

To support international scale, Kinderpedia has invested significantly in multi-language capabilities, including a fully available Arabic-language app, enabling schools to communicate seamlessly with diverse parent communities and supporting cross-border education groups operating in multiple markets.

Looking ahead, Kinderpedia’s vision is to develop a conversational AI companion for school leaders and teachers, designed to enable voice-driven interactions, intelligent insights and faster access to key data, all built with strong ethical and data protection standards for environments involving sensitive children information.

“This funding allows us to scale responsibly while staying close to the real needs of schools and families,” said Daniel Rogoz, CEO and Co-founder of Kinderpedia. “With Simpact leading the round, we’re able to accelerate our expansion in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as in markets such as the Middle East and Africa, where multilingual communication and trust between schools and parents are essential.”

“Kinderpedia tackles a fundamental challenge in education systems: enabling meaningful collaboration between schools and families at scale,” said Jacek Ostrowski, Partner at Simpact Ventures. “By combining operational efficiency with inclusive, multilingual communication and responsible use of AI, Kinderpedia has the potential to deliver long-term social impact across diverse education ecosystems. We’re proud to lead this round and support the company’s expansion into new international markets.”

Kinderpedia, founded by Daniel Rogoz, Evelina Necula and Valentin Ilea, has attracted venture capital backing throughout its development. In 2020, the company raised seed capital in a round led by ROCA X, with additional participation from SeedBlink investors, to accelerate product development and early international expansion. This was followed in October 2021 by a €1.8 million investment round led by Early Game Ventures (EGV), with continued support from ROCA X, Growceanu, and SeedBlink.

The current funding round is expected to close in mid-2026. Looking ahead, Kinderpedia will focus on further simplifying school operations, reducing administrative workloads and personalising learning through well-targeted AI features, while continuing to grow its team and accelerate international expansion. The company’s ambition is to scale towards a €30 million revenue business by 2030.
