Diverzum, the digital platform dedicated to students and Generation Z, has surpassed 100,000 registered users in Romania, less than one year after launching on the local market. During the same period, the company collaborated with more than 50 partner brands and now collaborates with 10 student organizations across the country’s leading university centers. The platform currently has helped users save more than 235,000 euros through the offers available on the platform.
To mark this milestone, Diverzum is launching a cash giveaway open to all students, a way to thank the community that made reaching this milestone possible while also providing tangible support at the start of the new academic year. The prize is intended to cover university tuition fees for the 2026–2027 academic year, reflecting the very reason Diverzum exists: to support students where they need it most. The competition is held exclusively through the app, from August 17 until the end of September, where users can find full details on how to participate, as well as the campaign terms and conditions.
Today, Diverzum brings together brands from sectors including transportation, food delivery, fashion, beauty, fitness, healthcare, education, and digital services. Its partners include Uber, BCR, Cartofisserie, Buzz, Sport Vision, FlixBus, Popeyes, Flip.ro and many others with the portfolio continuing to grow.
At the same time, the company has expanded its partnerships with student organizations across Romania’s main university centers. These collaborations enable direct engagement with university communities and support the continuous development of the platform based on user feedback.
“Reaching the milestone of 100,000 users is an important achievement for Diverzum in Romania. In less than a year, we have built an active student community while continuously expanding our portfolio of partner brands. Our platform usage data shows that students regularly take advantage of the available benefits, while our partners gain access to a loyal, engaged community and the opportunity to build long-term relationships rather than simply running one-off campaigns,” said Fanni Gyarmati, Co-founder of Diverzum.
Beyond the benefits offered to students, Diverzum provides companies with a dedicated communication channel to Generation Z and valuable insights into young consumers’ behavior. Through campaigns run on the platform and feedback collected directly from users, brands can test offers, measure interest in new initiatives, and adapt their products and marketing messages more quickly to this audience.
Recently, the company released the study “Gen Z – Consumer Behavior and Marketing Insights in Romania,” bringing together research on how young consumers make purchasing decisions, interact with brands, and build brand loyalty. The study provides companies with valuable insights into the preferences and expectations of the next generation of consumers, complementing the data generated through direct interaction with Diverzum users.
“Generation Z builds relationships with brands differently from previous generations. Young people are looking for relevant benefits, authenticity, and experiences that genuinely add value to their lives. Diverzum’s role is to facilitate this connection by giving brands access to an active community and actionable insights that help them adapt their strategies and campaigns to the expectations of the next generation,” added Fanni Gyarmati.
By the end of 2026, Diverzum expects to reach approximately 150,000 registered users in Romania while continuing to expand its portfolio of partner brands and collaborations with student organizations.
