ING Bank Romania supports the OFA Caravan: seven cities, dialogue and experience-sharing for women entrepreneurs

    Published on

ING Bank Romania joins the fifth edition of the OFA Caravan, organized by the Organization of Women Entrepreneurs (OFA), in partnership with the Federation for Innovation and Sustainable Competitiveness in SMEs (FICSIMM). The seven regional conferences are held under the theme “Entrepreneurial leadership and innovation for a sustainable economy 2026-2030.”

Between September 16-24, 2026, the Caravan will arrive in Alba Iulia, Deva, Timișoara, Târgu Jiu, Craiova, Râmnicu Vâlcea and Pitești, where it will bring together entrepreneurs, managers, representatives of public institutions, employers’ structures, strategic partners, professionals and relevant actors of the local economic ecosystem.

A space for dialogue for entrepreneurial communities in Romania

The Organization of Women Entrepreneurs (OFA) and ING Bank Romania support the development of an entrepreneurial community that is more informed and prepared for changes in the business environment. Through each stop, the OFA Caravan creates a space for dialogue and exchange of experience, in which entrepreneurs discuss the challenges, opportunities and development directions of their communities.

The conferences bring to the fore important topics for women entrepreneurs, from tax predictability and the financial health of businesses, to access to financing, digitalization, team development and sustainable leadership.

“At ING, we want to be with entrepreneurs not only through digital banking solutions, but also through initiatives that help them learn, connect and develop their businesses. We are happy to support the OFA Caravan, a space for dialogue and exchange of experience between entrepreneurs from all over the country. It is part of our broader commitment to support the development of the entrepreneurial environment, including through initiatives dedicated to women entrepreneurs, such as the She’s Next program,” said Diana Mihai, Director of Marketing, Communication and Brand Experience, ING Bank Romania.

Calendar of the OFA Caravan, fifth edition

The initiative will include, by the end of the year, a series of events organized in several counties in Romania. The collaboration comes in a context in which adaptation to economic changes and access to financial and digital tools are becoming increasingly important for the development and competitiveness of local companies.

“The OFA Caravan is, first of all, an invitation to conversation for female entrepreneurs in Romania. We talk about leadership, about how we adapt to a constantly changing economic environment and about the challenges we encounter in the development of our businesses. In the seven cities we reach in this edition, we aim to bring together local business communities, to facilitate the exchange of experience and to offer perspectives that can inspire the next step in entrepreneurship. We are glad that ING Bank Romania is with us in this endeavour and contributes to the creation of useful spaces for dialogue for women entrepreneurs,” said Amalia Georgescu, Executive President of the Women Entrepreneurs Organization (OFA).
