E.ON Energie Romania installed, in the first 10 months of this year, over 3,500 photovoltaic systems to residential customers, approximately 8 times more than last year. When it comes to energy storage solutions, only one in ten customers to whom the company installed a photovoltaic system opted for the installation of such a system.

“Investing in a battery for energy storage can be a wise decision for those who want to maximize the benefits arising from the use of solar panels and increase their energy independence,” said Claudia Griech, general manager of E.ON Energie Romania.

E.ON offers a solution through energy storage modules, the system being a hybrid, with powers of 5, 10, 15 kW, on-grid or off-grid, with a 10-year warranty granted by the manufacturer.

A 5-kW storage system alone manages to ensure an energy autonomy of 3-4 hours for the usual consumption of a building.

At the same time, storage systems allow the expansion of storage capacity depending on the needs of the household, within the technical limit of the inverter. For example, a 10-kW hybrid inverter can support a storage system of up to 45 kW.
