Flip and iSTYLE sign partnership: buyback program now available in iSTYLE stores and online

    Published on

Flip, the regional leader in the refurbished devices market, and iSTYLE, the largest Apple Premium Retailer in Romania, are launching a strategic partnership through a buyback program available both in iSTYLE stores and online, via the retailer’s platform.

The collaboration between the two brands began in the final months of 2024, driven by a shared vision: offering customers a simple, safe, and sustainable way to trade in their old devices. iSTYLE, one of the leaders in Apple retail, and Flip, the most popular refurbished devices player in Southeast Europe, joined forces by combining Flip’s refurbishment and buyback expertise with iSTYLE’s retail ecosystem to encourage responsible consumption and support the transition toward a circular economy. The program was initially launched in iSTYLE physical stores in May 2025, and starting May 2026, it is also available online, catering to all consumer preferences.

“Buyback is one of the most tangible ways to bring sustainability and the circular economy into the everyday routines of technology consumers. This collaboration marks an important milestone for Flip: it is our first partnership with an Apple Premium Partner, allowing us to offer a complete experience both in-store and online. We truly appreciate iSTYLE’s openness toward a responsible consumption model, and we are confident that together we can grow in a healthy and sustainable way,” said Alex Burghelia, co-founder of Flip.

“At iSTYLE, we aim to offer customers not only access to the latest Apple products, but also practical solutions that help them use technology responsibly. Our partnership with Flip allows us to integrate a simple and efficient buyback program that transforms the upgrade process into a sustainable experience, accessible both in our stores and online. We believe the future of tech retail lies in balancing innovation with responsibility, and this initiative is an important step in that direction,” said Dragoș Vrînceanu, Country Manager iSTYLE Romania.
