E.ON launches the 2027 edition of its scholarship programme and expands partnerships with Romania’s technical universities

    Published on

E.ON Romania has launched a new edition of its Burse@E.ON scholarship programme, an initiative dedicated to female students aspiring to build a career in the energy sector. Applications are open until 11 December 2026 and can be submitted via the E.ON Scholarship Application Form.

Following the application deadline, submissions will be assessed, with interviews scheduled to take place between 14 and 18 December 2026. Successful candidates will be notified by the end of the year and will sign their scholarship agreements between 21 and 31 December 2026. The programme will officially begin on 1 January 2027.

Through this initiative, the company supports the development of the next generation of female professionals in the electricity and natural gas sectors, providing both financial assistance and opportunities for learning and hands-on experience.

Launched to encourage academic excellence and greater female participation in technical fields, Burse@E.ON is open to female students in their second, third or fourth year of undergraduate studies, enrolled in programmes relevant to the energy industry at partner universities. Applicants must have passed all their exams and achieved an overall average grade of at least 8.50 in the previous academic year.

“The transformation of the energy sector requires highly skilled professionals, and investing in education is one of the most important contributions we can make to the future. Through Burse@E.ON, we aim to support talented young women who choose a career in energy and provide them with the opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic professional environment,” said Mircea Scridon, HR Division Director, Delgaz Grid.

As part of the programme, selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of RON 1,500, awarded until they complete their university studies, provided they maintain an overall average grade of at least 8.50.
